The Department of Internet of Things (IoT) at SITS is focused on transforming the future through smart connectivity, automation, and intelligent data-driven solutions. The department offers a specialized curriculum that integrates embedded systems, wireless communication, AI, and cloud computing, enabling students to design and develop IoT-based applications for diverse sectors, including healthcare, agriculture, smart cities, and industrial automation.

The department boasts state-of-the-art labs equipped with IoT kits, microcontrollers, sensors, and cloud platforms, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in building real-world IoT solutions. Students are trained in protocols such as MQTT, Zigbee, and LoRa, along with programming languages like Python and C for embedded systems.
